Test Scoring Services
Test Scoring Services provides scanning and analysis of:
- general examinations (full instructions) (answer key quick reference)
- general surveys (instructions)
- Camp War Eagle testing
Test Scoring Services uses National Computer Systems (NCS) optical scanning equipment and the general forms are available at the Auburn University Bookstore in Haley Center.
Test drop off is available at the HelpDesk in the Library and at the OIT Building (300 Lem Morrison Dr.).
Normal Test Scoring Services will be made available during the week of finals, April 28 - May 2. Scantrons may be dropped off at either the OIT HelpDesk in the Library or the Office of Information Technology Building, located at 300 Lem Morrison Drive.
For immediate turnaround, tests may be dropped off at the Office of Information Technology Building front desk. Scored tests will be available for pick-up as soon as they are scanned during the following hours:
Monday, April 28 - 7:45 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.
Tuesday, April 29 - 7:45 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.
Wednesday, April 30 - 7:45 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.
Thursday, May 1 - 7:45 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.
Friday, May 2 - 7:45 A.M. until 10:30 P.M.
A 24-Hour Drop Box is also available just to the left of the main front door on the south side of the OIT Building on Lem Morrison. If dropping off, please see the drop-off instructions.
Score notifications will be sent by email as soon as test scoring is completed.

For 24 hour turnaround time, tests (scantrons) may be dropped off at the OIT HelpDesk located on the third floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am - 10:00 pm and Friday, 8:00 am -5:00 pm. Scored tests will be available for pick-up at the OIT HelpDesk the next business day. All tests not picked up from the HelpDesk within 2 days will be available for pick-up at the OIT Building, 300 Lem Morrison Drive.
For immediate turnaround, tests may be dropped off at the OIT building front desk, located at 300 Lem Morrison Drive from 7:45 am until 4:45 pm Monday thru Friday. Scored tests will be available for pick-up as soon as they can be scanned - usually in 10 to 15 minutes, depending on how busy things are.
A 24-Hour Drop Box is available just to the left of the main door on the south side of the OIT Building. The drop box is checked, at a minimum, at 7:00 A.M., Monday through Friday, so exam results will be available early on the next business day. If there are any special instructions we can be reached at (334) 844-9521 or you may email any requests at firstname.lastname@example.org. All scantrons must be in an envelope with the following information on each packet:
- Instructor Name
- Email Address
- Department / Room number
- Contact Information
Scanning and Test Scoring Services deletes all scanned data the next morning. Any forms not picked up within 30 days will be destroyed. Please be sure to pick them up on a timely basis.
The scanning and test scoring services are provided for departments and activities funded by the University's general fund only.
