Installing TSM

 

Task:

 

To install the TSM Backup software.

 

Note: It recommend that you read and bookmark or print this page before you begin so you'll know what to expect and be able to refer back here during the installation.

 

How to do it:

1. Go to AU Install and click the "click here to download" button next to TSM 5.2.
   
   
2. When prompted, choose to "Save" the installation to your desktop.
   
   
3. Double-click the "tivoli_install_win32.exe" icon to start up the installer.
   
   
4. When you see the screen below, enter your AU user name and click Next.
   
   
   
   
5. Choose "English" or any language you desire when the "Choose Setup Language" box appears.
   
   
6. Click "Next" through the following two screens.
   
   
7. Choose "Typical" and click Next.
   
   
   
   
8. Click "Install" on the next screen.
   
   
9. The program will install the TSM software. Click "Finish" when it has completed and restart your computer.
