Checking the SSL Settings

Below are instructions how to check the SSL settings in the following browsers:

 

Firefox 1.0

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Firefox

  2. From the top menu, click "Tools > Options".

  3. Click the "Advanced" icon.

  4. Click the "Security" tab.

  5. Click "View Certificates" button.

  6. Make sure the checkboxes for SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 are selected and the checkbox for TLS 1.0 is not selected.

  7. Click "Ok".

Firefox 1.0 for Mac

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Firefox

  2. From the top menu, click "Firefox > Preferences...".

  3. Click the "Advanced" icon.

  4. Click the "Security" tab.

  5. Click "View Certificates" button.

  6. Make sure the checkboxes for SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 are selected and the checkbox for TLS 1.0 is not selected.

  7. Close Window.

Internet Explorer 7.0

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.

  2. From the top menu, click "Tools > Internet Options".

  3. Click the "Advanced" tab.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the list and look for the "Security" header.

  5. Make sure the checkboxes for SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 are selected and the checkbox for TLS 1.0 is not selected.

    Note: SSL 2.0 must be enabled for Windows Vista users to access E-Bill & TigerMail.

  6. Click "Ok".
