How to Enable JavaScript

Below are instructions on how to enable JavaScript in the following browsers:

 

Firefox 1.0

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Firefox
  2. From the top menu, click "Tools > Options".
  3. Click the "Content" icon.
  4. Check "Enable JavaScript".
  5. Click "OK".

Firefox 1.0 for Mac

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Firefox
  2. From the top menu, click "Firefox > Preferences...".
  3. Click the "Content" icon.
  4. Check "Enable JavaScript".
  5. Close Preferences box.

Internet Explorer 6.0

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. From the top menu, click "Tools > Internet Options".
  3. Click the "Security" tab. This will display the Web content zones.
  4. Highlight the "Internet" zone.
  5. Click Custom Level.
  6. Scroll to find the "Scripting" header.
  7. Ensure that "Active Scripting" is enabled.
  8. Click "OK".
  9. For Banner and other sites in your 'Local intranet' web zone:
    1. Highlight the "Local Intranet" web content zone.
    2. Click "Sites > Advanced" and verify that auaccess.auburn.edu (and other sites) are listed.
    3. Follow steps 5 - 8 above.
  10. Click "OK".

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. From the top menu, click "Tools > Internet Options".
  3. Click the "Security" tab. This will display the Web content zones.
  4. Highlight the "Internet" zone.

  6. Scroll to find the "Scripting" header.
  7. Ensure that "Active Scripting" is enabled.
  8. Click "OK".
