2-factor authentication to be required for direct deposit

Direct deposit bank account information is a common target of hackers. To help protect this confidential data, Auburn will begin requiring 2-factor authentication (Duo) when attempting to access direct deposit information within AU Access. Employees received this new security measure on October 31st and students will begin Tuesday, November 7th.

Those who have already registered for Duo can authenticate as they usually do. Those who have not signed up for Duo can register at http://www.auburn.edu/2factor.
