AU now a part of the world-wide wireless network "eduroam"

Recently the Office of Information Technology joined Auburn University to a world-wide consortium of institutions that provide a shared wireless network called “eduroam.”

eduroam is a wireless access service developed for the international research and education community. eduroam allows Auburn University account holders the same access to the Auburn network while on the Auburn campus as AU_WiFi. Visitors to the Auburn campus from participating institutions can connect to eduroam with their home University credentials and receive an internet connection without having to request a guest account. Auburn University students and employees can also use the eduroam network at other participating institutions to receive an internet connection while there.

Note: your login for eduroam is and your Auburn password no matter where you are physically located.

The Auburn Tigers travel to Clemson, South Carolina for a gridiron matchup on September 9th. Clemson University is also in the eduroam network, so if you’re going to the game, try out eduroam there and let us know about your experience. Other away-game football venue opportunities include LSU, Arkansas, and Texas A&M.
