Everyone should disable SSL 3.0 in all browsers; OIT disabling SSL 3.0 protocol on all servers

Because of a recent exploit discovered in SSL 3.0, OIT is disabling functionality of this protocol on all of its servers. If you have an application that requires the SSL 3.0 protocol that connects to an Auburn University server, we recommend you upgrade to the more secure TLS protocol.

It is also suggested that users disable the SSL 3.0 protocol in all web browsers. Here are a couple of sites that provide nice instructions:
