Mobile Email Solutions
Email is a primary means of communication for most people and is an official line of communication internally at Auburn University. Below you will find the instructions for setting up your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) to retrieve your email based on your type of device and the email application you have been assigned.
As usage of mobile devices increases this page will continue to develop as a value resource for our mobile community.

Students with TigerMail Live
Android devices vary so the steps below may not be exactly right for your device, but should still provide you with the information you need to set up your device in order to retrieve your TigerMail Live email.
- Settings > Accounts and Sync > Add Account > Exchange Active Sync (Corporate)
- Email address: username@tigermail.auburn.edu
- Password: your password
- Domain\Username: username@tigermail.auburn.edu
(If just Domain, leave blank.) - Password: your password
- Server: pod51004.outlook.com
- Use Secure Connection: checked
- Accept all SSL certs: checked
- In Email Settings: Choose 'Other' for account type if prompted (Windows Live does not work)
- Email address: username@tigermail.auburn.edu
- Password: your password
- Server name: pod51004.outlook.com
- Port: 993
- Encryption method: SSL
- Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
- Add Account: Microsoft Exchange
- Email: username@tigermail.auburn.edu
- Domain: leave blank
- Username: username@tigermail.auburn.edu
- Password: your password
- Description: arbitrary
Then Server will pop up
- Server: pod51004.outlook.com
- Next
- Mail, Calendar, Contacts can be turned off on this screen

Employees with Exchange
- Settings > Accounts
- Add Account
- Choose Corporate Sync or Exchange ActiveSync
- Email Address: username@auburn.edu
Password: your AU password
Optional on some devices -
Exchange server: cas.auburn.edu
Domain: auburn.edu
Username: your username - Done or Save
- From the iPhone home screen choose Settings, then Mail, Calendar, Contacts

- Choose Add Account

- On the Add Account screen choose Microsoft Exchange

- On the Exchange setup screen enter your email address, auburn.edu as domain, AU username and password, and description (arbitrary)

- On the confirmation screen choose Save

Retirees with TigerMail Live
