General Instructions

Before coming to the IDM Office for AU credentials (Username, Banner ID number, and/or ID card) it is suggested that you call the Identity Management (IDM) Office at 334-844-4386 to ensure that IDM has the proper approval and documents.  In addition, calling IDM will ensure the ID card recipient will have the proper documentation required by IDM.

Identity Management Required Documentation

Required documents vary for different parties, so please contact IDM to minimize delays.

IDM requires US Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (LPR) provide a government issued photo ID such as a driver’s license, military ID card, passport, etc.

Foreign Nationals should call IDM at 334-844-4386 to ensure they have been approved by the appropriate Auburn University office(s).  In addition, calling IDM will ensure the Foreign sponsored person has the required documentation needed by IDM to receive AU credentials.  All AU sponsored Foreign Nationals must first go the Office of International Education (OIE) prior to coming to IDM Office.  IDM will not be able to process any foreign national without proper authorization.  The OIE Office is located in Room 228, FOY Hall.
