Logging into a computer when not connected to Novell or Novell is down

Issue:

The Novell network is down and I can't log into my computer, OR my computer is not connected to the Novell network and I want to log into my computer to access the local files.

Solution:

You will need to log into your computer in "Workstation Only" mode.

1. When the Novell login screen appears, press the Alt + K keys or use your mouse to check the "Workstation only" box.
   
   
2. For the User Name and Password fields, enter your AU User Name and password.
   
   
3. Click on OK.

When finally logged in, you will be able to access all of your local files and folders, but not network files and folders or AU Office applications.
