Disabling auto-login in Windows XP

Task:

To disable auto-login in Windows 2000 operating systems

How to do it:

1. Click the Windows Start button and choose "Control Panel".
   
   
2. Double-click "User Accounts".
   
   
   
   
3. Select "Change the way users log on or off" from the User Accounts dialog box.
   
   
   
   
4. Click to uncheck the "Use the Welcome screen" check box.
   
   
   
   
5. Click the "Apply Options" button.
