Disabling auto-login in Windows 2000

Task:

To disable auto-login in Windows 2000 operating systems

How to do it:

  1. Click the Windows Start button and choose "Settings > Control Panel".

  2. Double-click "Users and Passwords".

  3. Click the checkbox next to "Users must enter a user name and pass...".

  4. Click the "Advanced" tab.

  5. Click the checkbox next to "Require users to press Cntrl-Alt-Delete...".

  6. Click "Apply" to save the changes and "OK" to close the dialog window.
