In October 2004, Auburn University awarded a contract for desktop computers. Dell has been awarded the contract for standard desktops (Optiplex and Precision Workstations only) and Howard Computers has been awarded the contract for custom desktops. In May 2007, Auburn awarded a contract for Laptops. Dell has been awarded the contract for the Latitude line of laptops.
Configurators are available on both websites. Servers were not included in this bid process and will be bid on an as needed basis. Additional information can be found by reviewing the AU Computer Contract FAQ.
