How to Create an Outlook Profile

     

    Launch Outlook 2011

    If this is the first time Outlook is opened, the Welcome to Outlook for Mac screen appears. If you intend to use Outlook 2011 as your full-time email, calendar and contact account, be sure the Make Outlook the default application for e-mail, calendar, and contacts box is checked.

    Click on the Add Account button to continue.




    If the Welcome to Outlook for Mac screen does not appear, select Accounts from Outlook Preferences.





    In the Accounts window, click on the Exchange Account button.

     

    In the configuration box, input your Exchange email address. Input your AUBURN\username and password.  Be sure the Configure Automatically box is checked.

    Click on the Add Account button to continue.

     

    The completed account configuration window will include a green status light when it is finished. Click on the red Exit button to complete the installation.
