How To Connect To AU_WiFi with Windows Vista

 

1. First, open Internet Explorer.
   1. Click "Tools" and "Internet Options"
   2. Press the "Advanced" tab.
   3. Scroll down to the security section. Uncheck "Check for server certificate revocation".
   4. Press "Apply" and "OK".
      
      
2. Click the Windows Icon (Start Button), type in the Start Search "Network and Sharing Center", and then click the shortcut "Network and Sharing Center".
   
   
3. Click "Connect to a network"
   
   
4. On the Connect to a Network screen select AU_WiFi and press "Connect". You may need to wait a few minutes before AU_WiFi is available.
   
   
5. Now presented with a window notifying you additional log on information is required, press "Enter/select additional log on information.
   
   
6. Enter you Auburn User Name (don't type @auburn.edu) and Password for authentication (Leave Logon Domain blank). Click "OK".
   
   
7. If you do not already have the Cisco Clean Access Agent installed, when you open a web browser for the first time, you will be prompted to download and install it. Click the "Download Clean Access Agent" button.
   
   
8. Once the Cisco Clean Access Agent is installed, you should see it begin to automatically log you into the Clean Access system.
   
   
9. Next, you should see the Cisco Clean Access Agent with the notification "Successfully Logged in to the network."
