Configuring DHCP in Windows XP

Task:

Configuring DHCP in Windows XP.

How to do it:

  1. Click the Start button on your toolbar and select Control Panel.

  2. Double-click Network Connections.

  3. Double-click Local Area Connection.

  4. Click the Properties button.

  5. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) then click the Properties button.

  6. Check the Obtain an IP address automatically button, then click the OK button.
