Configuring DHCP in Windows 2000

Task:

Configuring DHCP in Windows 2000.

How to do it:

  1. Click the Start button on your toolbar and choose Settings > Control Panel.

  2. Double-click Network and Dial-up Connections.

  3. Double-click on Local Area Connection.

  4. Click the Properties button.

  5. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) then click the Properties button.

  6. Click the button next to Obtain an IP address automatically and click the OK button.
