Setting up AU Dial with the AU Dial CD

How to do it:

Follow these steps:

1. Insert the AU Dial CD-ROM. It starts automatically.

Note: If you do not have the AU Dial CD, contact your Administrative Computing Coordinator or see Setting up AU Dial without the AU Dial CD.


2. Answer Yes when asked if you wish to install AU Install.
3. Answer Yes when asked if you wish to install AU Dial.
4. Enter your AU User Name and OIT password when prompted and click Next.
5. You may answer Yes or No when asked if you wish to install Netscape.
6. You may answer Yes or No when asked if you wish to install any other products.

If you do wish to install some of the applications, we suggest you choose Customized list of products so you can select which programs you want. See the Software available when using AU Dial section below.

Windows 2000/XP only: Locate the AU Dial icon, right click, and select Properties. Click on the Options tab and then check the box next to "Prompt for username and password".
