Troubleshooting
- Problem: Activation is not successful and you have verified that you can make a phone call, browse the web, and you've verified that you can use Enterprise services on your account (for non-Verizon users only).
Solution: Simply try again. If that fails remove the battery and try again.
- Problem: I'm still unsuccessful.
Solution: Make sure that you are not filtering the email from blackberry.net that you will receive in your inbox. You should NOT open or move this email. It should only be in your inbox for a matter of seconds while the server verifies your account. You may also need to temporarily turn off any junk mail or other email rules to ensure this message is correctly handled.
- Problem: My Blackberry seems to have locked up or I cannot move out of a specific program.
Solution: Remove the battery and replace, this will reset the device. You may also reset it by pressing the half moon + CAP + DEL keys simultaneously.
- Problem: I'm deleting my email on the Blackberry but it is not deleting in GroupWise.
Solution: On the Blackberry open the messaging applet and click the wheel. Choose Options>Email Reconciliation. In the 'Delete On' field click the wheel. To delete the mail on the server choose either 'prompt' or 'Handheld and Mailbox.'
