Through the AU Office program, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) maintains file, print and application servers for many departments on campus. The program allows you to have access to shared group space so that you and your colleagues can have a common place on a server to share files.
What AU Office Includes:
Each AU Office department will receive 250 MB of shared group space per AU Office user (calculation based on department's FTEs). AU Office also includes 100 MB personal space for each person on the server and all of the files stored on the server are backed up daily.
Network specialists are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to keep these servers running. So when a server is down, we know it and you don't have to provide support personnel to come in and take care of server problems after hours.
AU Office participants will be able to get the products in the Microsoft Campus agreement from the server. OIT's AU Software program coordinates the Microsoft Campus agreement.
