Messages not showing as read in TigerMail Web

 

Issue:

After I read an e-mail in TigerMail, it doesn't display as being read.

 

Reason:

 

TigerMail uses separate windows when you are reading a message, composing a message, setting a calendar date as well as other items. Therefore, when you are in these separate windows, TigerMail does not update your inbox in the background.

 

Solution:

 

Once you have viewed your messages and want to either show those messages as "read" or check for new messages, click on the red "Update" link located on the left, just above your list of messages or you can click the "Mailbox" folder. This will refresh your inbox, changing the status of viewed messages and checking for new messages that have arrived.
