Synchronizing your AU Computing passwords

How to do it:

Synchronizing all of your Auburn University passwords is simple and it will provide you with the benefit of having to remember only one set of information to access Auburn University technology resources.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Auburn University Password Page: (http://www.auburn.edu/password).

  2. Enter your User Name and your current password.

  3. Enter and re-enter your new password.
    Note: Be careful..passwords are case-sensitive! Review the password rules in the blue box before setting your password. Choose a password that is easy for you to remember but hard for others to determine.
  4. Click the "Set Password" button. Allow 5 minutes for the updated password to take effect. (Mallard and mainframe passwords may take up to 15 minutes.)

If, after 30 minutes, you still cannot log in to GroupWise, you will need to contact the OIT HelpDesk with the information listed below.
