Create Links (Groups)
  1. Click Manage Links under Content Tools. You will see a Manage Links page that contains three sections:

    1. Submitted Links - a list of all links that have been submitted by members, but not yet reviewed and posted.

    2. Active Links - a list of all posted links.

    3. Inactive Links - a list of all links that have been removed from the homepage, but not deleted.

  2. Click Post a New Link provided in  Active Links area.

    1. In Status field, use the drop-down to select Active.

    2. Enter a title for the link in the Title field.

    3. Enter the complete Internet address of the link in the URL field.  For example, http://www.yahoo.com.  The URL field also supports addresses containing the following protocols:  https://    ftp://    nntp:    mailto:

    4. In the Description field, enter a one or two sentence description of the page that will open when users click the link.  This field is required and supports 1000 characters.

    5. Click Post button to add the link.  You will see a confirmation that your link has been posted.  Click OK.
