'War Eagle'

The 2012 NCAA commercial reveals why "War Eagle" is so revered among Auburn men and women and how it evokes various sentiments within the Auburn Family.

This year's spot features current students, alumni, and fans sharing the significance of one of Auburn's long-held, spirit-filled traditions.

The fast-paced spot celebrates just a few of the many stories where Auburn students and faculty are changing lives, whether it’s with forward-looking research or the expertise and support provided by engaging in service projects.

There's an immediate, knowing connection when anyone faithful to orange and blue happens upon another member of the Auburn Family, proudly proclaiming "War Eagle!" This can happen anywhere—in your hometown, somewhere when you're traveling across the country, or even thousands of miles away in a foreign land. We can all relate to this bond—it's a genuine acknowledgement that we share a love for the university.

It can be the rousing, lengthy, multi-syllable "Waaarrrrr Eagle!" roared upon kick-off, the Samford Hall carillon chiming the fight song every day at noon, or a congratulatory "job well done" … any way, "War Eagle" is distinct and unique to Auburn, a tradition we hold quite dear.
