In which the MPG does its part to solve the financial crisis.

A series of minute-long television spots promoting financial literacy. Equal parts optimism, humor, how-to and did-you-know, the programs take a common-sense look at everyday financial topics such as child allowances, same-as-cash plans, mortgage points & insurance deductibles.

Series host Dr. Norman H. Godwin is a CPA and an award-winning professor of accounting at Auburn University. Dr. Godwin has authored or co-authored numerous publications including an accounting textbook titled Principles of Financial Accounting (published by Houghton Mifflin in 2007). He currently serves on the American Accounting Association Financial Literacy Task Force.
