Dr. Norman Godwin of the School of Accounting was noticing a marked drop in his students’ test scores right around the “Fiscal Accounting Cycle” section. Students just weren’t understanding how their data related.

We created an interactive simulation of the accounting cycle that let students literally see how the changes in one section of data rippled through and affected the rest of the balance sheets. We then added a minor degree of interactivity to allow students to fully control their learning experience and experiment with elements until they were sure that they understood the cause-and-effect process.
