Dear Auburn
Student,
The Auburn Student
Government Association has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity Lee County to
build a house for one of our very own.
Construction began on Ms. Mary Scott’s house March 3 and will end March
15. The location is 924 Holmes Ave. in Auburn. Volunteers and donations are needed to
complete this home for Ms. Scott and her four grandchildren. Ms. Scott is a
19-year employee for Auburn University’s athletic department as a custodian and
is approaching retirement. We would love for as many people as possible in your
organization to participate in the building of this home.
With less than a week
remaining on this project, we need your help!
The idea behind this project
is to foster a spirit of unity among the Auburn students. That is why I would
like for each of you to participate. Here’s how:
1. Anyone can help build it
and the volunteer/donation information is on the SGA website at www.auburn.edu/sga.
