Traffic and Parking Master Plan

Dear Members of the Auburn Community:

I am writing to inform you that the University is undertaking a study
that will result in a comprehensive master plan for traffic and parking.
 The firms of Wells and Associates and Skipper Consulting are providing
the professional expertise needed to prepare an effective plan.  They
will examine not only parking and traffic but also other issues
including pedestrianization and campus bus routes.  

I understand and appreciate that these issues have practical
significance on a daily basis for many or most Auburn students, faculty,
and staff.  Accordingly, I think it important to establish open channels
of communication.

Specifically, I invite you to attend an open forum that Marty Wells,
one of our consultants, will conduct concerning these issues.  The place
and time are room 3195 Haley Center from 4 to 6 pm on Thursday, February
27.  I also invite you to share your questions and suggestions with Mr.
Wells at this e-mail address:  auburntigers@mjwells.com .

I appreciate your taking the time to engage these issues as we move
forward with the planning process.
