SACS Self-Study Draft Report

Dear Members of the AU Community:

	Today, Thursday, October 3rd, a draft of the Auburn University SACS Self Study Report has been placed on the Web.  It can be found at www.auburn.edu/sacs_selfstudy_report.    To access it you will need your global ID (groupwise name) and your Windows Domain password.  This draft is a work in progress.

	You are invited to read any part of the document of interest to you, and, if you wish, to comment on the material presented therein.  Should you choose to make a comment(s), then please send it to me at the following email address:   ejc@auburn.edu,  and I ask that you identify yourself.   Comments will be collected until the end of the day on Friday, October 25th.  Your comment(s) will be considered by the SACS Steering Committee and a decision on the disposition of this comment(s) will be made.

	Subsequently, the Self Study Report will be finalized and sent to the printers.  It will be forwarded to Dr. G. Jack Allen, Associate Executive Director of SACS and the Auburn liaison with SACS, shortly after the Christmas holidays.  

  	The SACS Visiting Team will be on campus from Monday, March 31st, until Thursday noon, April 3rd.   Note that this Reaffirmation of Accreditation visit is distinct from the investigation being conducted by Mr. Bradley of Columbus, GA, on the issues designated by Judge Forrester and approved by SACS and Auburn University.
