Follow-up to earlier message

Dear Members of the Auburn Community:

As a follow-up to my earlier message, Jim Bradley and I have consulted
with each other about the General Faculty Meeting scheduled for this
afternoon, and we have agreed on the following steps.

Today's General Faculty Meeting will be rescheduled to a date in the
near future. At today's scheduled meeting time and place, 3 p.m. in
Broun Hall Auditorium, Jim and I will convene a meeting for open
discussion of the events of the day and how the university can best
respond to them.

Please be assured that as developments warrant I will communicate
further with you on these matters. I look forward to seeing you at this
afternoon's open meeting.
