Hi !
I am Sonal kulkarni from Banglore. I will be joining Auburn this fall to pursue MS. My stream is Computer Science. I was wondering if I need to get any text books from India. Do I need to get any textbooks that I used during BE or any other text books for that matter. Please answer my query.

Hi Sonal,
Well, It's difficult to suggest on what books you can fetch from India. All depends on the professor who would be offering the course. Some don't even recommend a text book, just the class notes/slides suffice!
If you studied under VTU the only books that I think would make sense are the Computer Networks by Tanenbaum / CN by Kurose & Ross.
Have you decided on your major/professor & what courses you would be taking for the coming semester? This can give us a better idea!
Additional option being borrowing books from seniors/library.
