Background:
Since becoming head of the Industrial Design Department in 1991, Clark has overseen the steady growth of the faculty and staff, undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as facilities expansions. Currently he serves as an accreditation evaluator for the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), and is responsible for maintaining the department's positive accreditation status. Clark is also responsible for coordinating corporate funded industry collaborations with NASA, Dr. Marten's, Brother International, Interface-Flor, Broan-Nutone, etc.

Clark 's teaching and research interests include product development and culture, and their impact upon the natural and man-made world.
