Teaching With Technology Thursdays
Each Thursday afternoon for six weeks, IMG staff as well as guest speakers will provide opportunities for faculty to re‐evaluate their current teaching practices and their uses of technology. Participants will be asked to identify a specific course to be taught in Fall 2008 or Spring 2009 with the intention of completely revising it. We’ll explore and establish new goals and ways to use technology in the teaching, focusing on matching technology with goals. Using new technologies such as clickers, podcasts, virtual worlds, and others will be explored. Participants will present a brief overview of the new course at the end of the six weeks.
Contact Dr. Kathy McClelland, Manager, IMG, for registration information: 844-5181. Minimum enrollment: 8. Maximum enrollment: 16.
