Student View available in Canvas

From Instructure: Student view will be activated from the course settings page. Once activated you can navigate your course just like a "normal" student. You will see a bar notifying you that you are currently in student view. The fake student will be very similar to a normal student in that they will show up in grade book (for the teacher only) be able to take quizzes, turn in assignments and do everything to progress through the modules. You can use student view in unpublished courses. This iteration of student view will not have access to messages, and will not be visible to any real students.

In student view you will be able to post and reply to discussion topics, so if you don't want them sticking around you'll need to delete posts after you make them.
