HSMAI is Hotel and Restaurant Management's most student organization, representing all fields of hospitality from meeting planners to casinos to travel agents. Our chapter is part of the world's largest professional hospitality organization. This allows us to contact people in all aspects of the industry. Founded in the Fall of 1997, and chartered on campus in the Spring of 1998, the Auburn chapter has many purposes:

1. Put you in touch with successful executives in the industry so you can walk into your first job or internship.
2. Show you the different jobs available in the industry and how to get there through speakers and field trips.
3. Get all HRM students together in a social environment.
4. Offer scholarships through the international organization.
5. Have the upper classmen give guidance to the freshman and sophomores.
