Admission to the Program

Entering freshmen and currently enrolled Auburn students who demonstrate the potential for outstanding academic achievement are eligible for admission in the University Honors College. Minimum requirements for admission are 1) a high school grade point average of 3.5 and 2) an ACT score of 29 or an SAT score of 1280. Selection of incoming freshmen is based on GPA, ACT/SAT scores, and evidence of the candidate's activities and leadership. 

Invitations to apply to the College will be sent to all students who meet the Honors minimum  requirements and who have been accepted by Auburn University prior to December 1.  If you meet the minimum requirements but have not received an invitation to apply to the Honors College by the end of December, please contact the University Honors College Office at 334-844-5860.

Students currently enrolled at Auburn who have a 3.4 cumulative unadjusted grade point average may also be considered for admission; interested students should contact the University Honors College office (844-5860) for more information.
