The Alpha Upsilon chapter of Phi Gamma Delta has a rich history here at Auburn University. The chapter was colonized February 1, 1961, and was officially chartered on October 27, 1962. Since our founding at Auburn University in 1962, FIJI has been one of the very successful and dominant fraternities on campus. The Alpha Upsilon chapter currently holds the title of Largest Fraternity at Auburn University, and because of this we are known for our scholarship, morals, and enthusiasm. We have brothers who participate in all sorts of organizations and activities on campus. The FIJI House has not moved location since our charter, and is the only Auburn University fraternity house still located on the original Fraternity Row. Being a FIJI at Auburn University means being a part of something rich in tradition and history.
