AU Template 2

AU Template 2 is available as XHTML with a Table-based Layout and as XHTML with a CSS-based Layout. Developers are encouraged to use the CSS-based Layout version and take advantage of the benefits related to accessibility, forward compatibility, and more, as described in the W3C XHTML Specification.

Access the AU Template 2 by downloading the zip-file, which contains the XHTML file, the CSS Stylesheet, any image files, and the Instructions.

Instructions

These instructions are also included in the downloadable zip-file for this template.

This template contains "Edit Areas" A thru H. These "Edit Areas" are described below and defined in the template's page source. Replace the placeholder information in each "Edit Area" with your content.

  • Edit Area A - Enter Description, Keywords, and Other Meta Tags.

  • Edit Area B - Enter Page Title. This is the text that is shown in the browser's title bar.

  • Edit Area C - Enter Parent Link(s). For example, an academic department may include a link to it's college or school, or an academic program may include links to both its academic department and college.

  • Edit Area D - Enter Page Title.

  • Edit Area E - Enter Main Site Links. These are links to the major sections of your site.

  • Edit Area F - Enter Side Bar Content. This is the area for the side bar content.

  • Edit Area G - Enter Main Page Content. This is the area for the text and graphics that make up the page's primary content.

  • Edit Area H - Enter Footer Information. This is your address and telephone as desired, and contact e-mail address.
