Program Costs

The tuition rate is $280 per semester hour.  Total cost for the 9 hours of foreign language education classes and 6 hours of foundations classes is $4,188.The additional cost for the French or Spanish courses will depend upon the program chosen by the student. (See course work page) The total cost of two summers abroad will range from approximately $7,000 to $8,000.

Spanish students, who follow the advised plan of study, will register for one course each semester for two academic years and 9 hours during each of two summers.

The graduate school application fee is $25. Students enrolled in courses during the semester in which they plan to graduate pay a $20 graduation fee.

 Students not enrolled in courses during the semester in which they plan to graduate pay an additional $280 which is referred to as a "Clearing Graduation Fee."

There are no additional fees.

Students are expected to provide their own textbooks and supplies. 

Tuition fees for courses taken outside of CTSE and CTRD may differ.

Students are responsible for their own travel, meals, and hotel accommodations while participating in on-campus activities. The fee per semester credit hour is subject to change by the Auburn University Board of Trustees on an annual basis.
