WebCT also provides email, chat rooms and bulletin boards where students are able to interact with instructors and classmates:

  • Bulletin boards--Web pages that contain archived conversations in text format.
  • Chat rooms--A live (or synchronous) version of textual conversation over the Internet.
  • Email--Messaging that takes place privately between two or more participants.

Examinations

  • Electronic self-tests, quizzes and proctored exams are given to assess the student's progress.
