Qualified education professionals can pursue a Master’s degree in Collaborative Teacher and/or Early Childhood Special Education via Internet-based distance education.

This online master's degree program, offered through Auburn University's Rehabilitation and Special Education Department, is designed specifically for certified teachers in Alabama who are working in Special Education or who have special needs students in their classrooms.

Even though you are not within commuting distance of the university campus, you may take advantage of educational technologies to advance your skills and earn a degree from home, with an annual on-campus stay of several weeks in early summer. As a distance education student, you will receive instruction from the same world-class Auburn University faculty who teach in our programs on campus.

At RSED, we believe it is essential to share our knowledge beyond the university walls. We strive to extend our teachings through distance education, model our practices through community service, and mindfully expand the professional boundaries of our leadership. Please let us know if you have further questions after exploring our program menu.
