Busy foreign language professionals can now earn a master's degree in as little as two academic years and two summers.
- The Distance Learning M.Ed. in Foreign Language Education program for either Spanish or French is an extension of campus-based offerings. The distance degree has identical course requirements as the traditional master's in Foreign Language Education with equivalent credit hours.
- Gain expertise from faculty who have foreign language teaching
experience as well as from fellow teacher-students.
- To be eligible for this degree a prospective student must have a renewable teaching certificate at the "B" level in Alabama for either Spanish or French or at the initial level in any other state for either Spanish or French. This degree program fulfills all the requirements for an A certification by the State of Alabama.
- Through Internet-based learning, you can conveniently access your course content. Such flexibility in the program allows teachers to balance educational objectives with work and family commitments.
- The Distance Education master's degree meets the same guidelines for quality as do all Auburn University programs and is fully accredited by ACHE, NCATE and the Alabama State Department of Education
