As an online faculty member and researcher in knowledge and learning, David Metcalf explores many leading edge innovations. David was formerly the Chief Learning Technologist at RWD Technologies. He joined RWD with the sale of his NASAKennedy Space Center laboratory spin-off company, Merrimac. Prior to the spin-off, he was the Lead Multimedia Designer at NASAKSC. David is co-author of the book, Blended eLearning: Integrating Knowledge, Performance Support and Online Learning. His newest book, mLearning: Mobile Learning and Performance, is now available.

Ray Taylor serves the Southern Growth Policies Board as Senior Fellow and Director of the Council on the New Economy Workforce. Ray is the President Emeritus of the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT). He served for fifteen years as the leader of this association, providing for their in-service education and guiding the development of local, state and national public policy in education. His years of leadership include roles as teacher, college administrator, national education association executive, and consultant.

Ann Chard is the vice president of the Commission on Colleges for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). She currently serves as the staff liaison to two and four year colleges and universities. She has also served as dean of instruction, departmental chairperson and professor in the community college setting. Ann has served as president of organizations such as Alabama College Association, Alabama Academic Deans’Association and Alabama Association of Division/Department Chairs.
