1. Must have knowledge and understanding of basic project management, including methodology and deliverables.
2. Should be planning to take the PMP exam soon after completing this course (within 4-6 weeks).

PMI requires the following in order to take the PMP exam:

1. Students must have completed a minimum of 35 hours of project management instruction. (This course satisfies all 35 of those hours)
2. Students must have 4500 hours of project management experience with a Bachelors Degree, 3 years of experience in the last 6 years.
3. Students must have 7500 hours of project management experience without a Bachelors Degree, 5 years of experience in the last 8 years.
