Where can I find information about construction on campus?
In order to keep students informed of the work affecting campus streets, the AU Facilities Division has created an online calendar that tracks daily the road closings and related construction projects. The page can be viewed here.
Where can I find out inform ation about events taking place on campus?
Check out the Auburn University Calendar or Events at http://gwcal.auburn.edu/calendar/ for a complete listing of university, academic, and student events.
Where can I find a list of student organizations I can get involved with?
The Student Organizations Office maintains and up-to-date of active students organizations on the AU Campus. The list can be found at http://frontpage.auburn.edu/foy/orgs/search.aspx.
What are the University's rules and regulations that I need to know about?
Most of the University's rules and regulations that apply to students can be found in the Tiger Cub Student Handbook online at http://www.auburn.edu/tigercub/rules/.
Where can I find information about Student Health Insurance?
Auburn University does offer student health insurance through a third party company. Information about the student health insurance plan can be found online at http://www.studentresources.com. You may also request an information brochure by calling the Auburn University Medical Clinic at 334.844.4416.
Where can I find out information about what I need to do to graduate?
Auburn University has a Graduate Information website that contains information about your graduation ceremony including how to order invitations, seating of guests, diplomas, and transcripts. You can view the information at http://www.auburn.edu/student_info/student_affairs/registrar/graduation/.
What do I do if I have gotten a parking ticket that I feel it was a mistake?
If you received a parking citation and feel that it was a mistake, you may appeal the ticket. You may go by the Parking Services Office ( 215 S. Donahue Drive ) and fill out the Parking Appeals form. In order to appeal a ticket you must have a current parking hang tag and appeal within seven calendar days of date of violation. Where can I find out information about an on-campus job?
You can search and even apply online for available on-campus jobs at the Student Employment website at http://www.jobs.auburn.edu/JobXHome.aspx.
What do I do if I am having difficulty logging into my email account?
Call the Office of Information Technology's Help Desk at 334.844.4944 and they will be glad to help you solve the problem.
If I am not feeling well, where do I go?
Visit the Auburn University Medical Clinic at 334.844.4416. They provide great healthcare and great doctors for exclusively for students and staff members.
I need to get in contact with my professor or a student in my class? How can I find out there contact information?
Auburn University maintains an online directory that if the professor or student agrees to, publishes their contact information. Visit the online directory at http://www.auburn.edu/main/auweb_campus_directory.html.
Where can I find information about student scholarships?
Information about student scholarships can be found on the Scholarship Office's website at http://www.auburn.edu/student_info/student_affairs/scholarship/.
Who can I contact if I need assistance in dealing with a roommate, handling my academic classes, or simply voicing a concern I have with something at the University?
The best place to start is with the Office of the Dean of Students. They can help direct you in the right direction. You can just call 334.844.1300 for assistance and we will be glad to help you or point you in the right direction.
