Welcome to the COSAM Family

On the second floor of the Sciences Center Classrooms Building, a sign reads, "Come in, we're awesome" on the door. Inside the Office of Student Services, a team of trusted academic advisors guides students in the College of Sciences and Mathematics (COSAM). Besides gaining academic advice, students can get help in a variety of areas such as:

  • Meet with a peer advisor to receive valuable insight from a seasoned COSAM student.  They can ask questions from someone who has gone through the very same experiences.
  • Learn how to get involved in research. The Research Ambassadors in the Office of Student Services can share tips and recommendations for a students to begin to explore opportunities in research.
  • Take a break, recharge or just relax. All COSAM students are always welcomed in the office. Students can take a break in-between classes, recharge their laptop or phone, or just take a moment to relax.
  • Have fun! The office also offers special events for students through the semester. Check COSAM's Instagram account to find out more!
