Kim and Erickson selected as co-recipients of the 2015 Andrew C. Connor Memorial Award

Mr. Doyon Kim and  Mr. Nick Erickson are selected to be the co-recipients of the 2015 Andrew C. Connor Memorial Award. The Selection Committee felt that both candidates have exceptional and extraordinary achievements.

Mr. Kim is majoring in Mathematics with great achievement. He has a perfect 4.00 GPA and has already published (or had accepted for publication) three research papers. His first paper is on a topic in Number Theory, his second paper has appeared in International Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science, and his third paper has been accepted by Geombinatorics.

Mr. Erickson is majoring in Actuarial Math with great achievement. He has already passed two Actuarial Exams, with a near perfect score of about 3.97, which is truly an achievement, and will be taking the third exam SOA exam, Models for Financial Economics (MFE), this spring. 

Each recipient will receive a plaque, presented by Dr. Tam, in the End-of-Spring-semester gathering (place and time TBD).
