Deemed “charming, funny, touching and likable,” by Variety magazine, “Is There Life After High School?” is the second presentation of the 2016-2017 season for the Auburn University Department of Theatre. Opening on Thursday, Oct. 20, and running through Oct. 29, the production is loosely based on Ralph Keyes’ bestseller about the awkward absurdities of adolescent life.

From small town life to the urban inner city, “Is There Life After High School?” is a musical tribute to America’s most hormone driven and angst-ridden rite of passage. It explores the good, bad and funny things people experience during high school.

The artistic team for “Is There Life After High School?” includes direction by Jeri Dickey, lighting design by student Jacob Walker, scenic design by student Terea Abernathy and costume design by Tracy Oleinick. The cast includes Cara Elle Benson, Tyler Carter, Noel Dudley, Teyonna Johnson, Logan Pace, Brooke Scocos, Taylor Thomas, Lauren Vedder and Jackson Whiting.
