Seating Chart

Begun in 1939, the stadium seats 85,000. It was named for Ralph "Shug" Jordan and Clifford Leroy Hare. Jordan, a legendary football coach for over two decades at Auburn, retired in 1975 as Auburn's winningest coach. Hare, who played on Auburn's first football team in 1892, was dean of the School of Chemistry and state chemist from 1930 until 1948.

Prohibited Items

Umbrellas, video cameras, backpacks, recording devices, artificial noisemakers, food/beverage containers, bottles, weapons, stadium seats with arms and alcoholic beverages are not allowed inside Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Inside Jordan-Hare Stadium

  • Police officers and security guards will be patrolling the stands. If you need assistance, please look for an officer. If you bring children to the game, please instruct them to look for an officer if they become separated from you.
  • Spectators will not be allowed on the playing field at any time. Spectators attempting to enter the field will be ejected from the stadium and/or arrested.
  • Do no throw objects, including cups and ice, from the stands or any other area of the stadium. Anyone caught throwing objects inside the stadium will be subject to ejection from the stadium and/or arrest. If you are ejected from the stadium for any reason, you will not receive a refund for your ticket.
  • No pass-outs are given for any reason. Police officers cannot give pass-outs. If you leave the stadium, you must purchase another ticket to re-enter. If tickets are not available, you will not be allowed to re-enter.


    Lost and Found

    Any items found during the game will be taken to the First Aid Station, located under Section 46. If you lose an item, please check there to see if it has been turned in. If you find an item, please take it to the First Aid Station.
