If there's one thing we know for certain, it's that the battle cry "War Eagle" can be heard across the globe. Members of the Auburn Family have the opportunity to make that battle cry louder by traveling together with the War Eagle Travelers Program.

This program has been showing the Tiger spirit by uniting alumni and friends in travel for almost 40 years. With almost 30 trips offered each year to alumni and friends, there is a trip that appeals to everyone. From family vacations to their Classic European Graduation Tour, the War Eagle Travelers Program offers a variety of vacations for all members of the Auburn Family.

"It's group travel and we just want everyone to enjoy themselves and have Auburn as their common theme, so it's open to everybody," said Tanja Matthews, alumni programs coordinator with the Auburn Alumni Association.

Some of the places that travelers will visit in the coming months include Tahiti, China, Europe and even Churchill to see the polar bears. A New York trip is a family trip during Thanksgiving in 2012, where travelers will attend the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, a Broadway show and an Iron Bowl watching party.

The Classic European Graduation Tour in May is a main attraction for recent graduates and young alumni. They get the opportunity to celebrate their graduation with a 17-day tour of Paris, Rome, London and the Greek isles.

"We are just looking forward to having more of our graduates know about the War Eagle Travelers Program," Matthews said. "The graduation trip makes a great graduation gift or Christmas gift."

Everything with the War Eagle Travelers Program costs less than other do-it-yourself packages, Matthews says. Hotels, most meals, guides, transportation and events are included. The hotels are chosen specifically for safety, location and quality.

The tours always have a well-planned itinerary that shows travelers the most important sites with plenty of built-in free time, according to Matthews. The tour director stays with the travelers for the duration of the program.

War Eagle Travelers also offers trips for every away football game. Alumni travel and stay in hotels with other Auburn fans and tailgate together. It's a great way to get to know other members of the Auburn family.

"Anything to help our alumni and friends get together and travel in style with Auburn and show that Auburn spirit to the world -- it's what the War Eagle Travelers Program wants to put out there," Matthews said.
